MHRV Code of Ethics

MHRV members shall conduct their businesses in a professional manner as well as maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct.

MHRV members shall, at all times, refrain from making any statement or conducting themselves in any manner which may bring discredit to the association or other members of the association.

MHRV members shall not participate in any form of price fixing or any other unethical marketing practice.

MHRV members shall abide by a general duty of integrity, honor and fair dealing toward the general public.

MHRV members shall comply with all city, county, state and federal laws and shall endeavor to keep themselves informed of those laws governing our business.

MHRV members shall employ truth and accuracy in all advertising and sales activities. Members shall abide by the intent of the territory agreement with their manufacturer in regards to exhibiting of products, product listings, distribution or brochures and signage at MHRV events.

MHRV members shall not perform any act which would bring disrepute to the recreational vehicle industry and / or manufactured home industry.

MHRV members will expose or halt where found, any scheme designed to deceive or defraud the recreational vehicle or manufactured home buying public and will aid in the prosecution of those guilty of such acts.

MHRV members shall constantly strive to improve business methods to the end that the public will be better served.

MHRV members shall hold confidential any privileged information entrusted or made known and shall not disclose this information without permission to any third party except as required by law.
